🌟🎶 GOSPEL SUNDAY – ONE OF THOSE SPECIAL DAYS 🎶🌟

On Sunday, the Essex Gospel Choir came together for their monthly Gospel Sunday rehearsal, and what a special afternoon it turned out to be. ✨

The choir have been working hard on their newest song, Love Theory, and they sounded fantastic. 🎵🙌 But as the rehearsal moved into songs for some exciting upcoming performances, something shifted in the room. The music seemed to connect on a deeper level, and it became one of those rare afternoons that nobody present will forget.

As a choir family, The BIG Sing shares not only the joy of singing together, but also the journey of life itself. This week, members were saddened by the passing of one of their much-loved choir members, Mike.

💛Remembering Mike💛:  Mike was an inspiration to so many. Born blind, he never allowed that to define or limit him. He embraced life with enthusiasm, determination, humour and unwavering faith. He was a treasured member of the choir family, and while he will be greatly missed, Sunday provided an opportunity to reflect on his life and celebrate the remarkable person he was. 🕊️    As the choir sang Precious Lord, the words seemed to carry a special significance. Voices were raised from the heart, thoughts turned to friends facing their own challenges, and the room became filled with emotion. There were tears, hugs, encouragement and a powerful sense of togetherness. 🤗💕

What made the afternoon so memorable wasn’t just the music. It was the reminder that The BIG Sing is so much more than a choir. It is a community. A place where friendships are formed, support is freely given, and people can share both the highs and lows of life together. 💫  And then, as always, the afternoon ended with energy, joy and celebration as Every Praise filled the room! 🙌🎶✨

It was one of those special rehearsals that reminded everyone just how powerful music can be, and just how special this choir family truly is. 💛🎵
