Our retreat at The Belfry Hotel in Oxford was nothing short of incredible—full of joy, laughter, powerful singing, and the kind of connection that makes The BIG Sing so special.

From the very first moment, it was magic.

We kicked things off in style with Friday night’s Grid of Groove—a high-energy mix of musical bingo, games, and pure fun that brought everyone together instantly.

Saturday took things to another level.
An electrifying reggae workshop with Fola Phillip had the whole room moving and feeling every beat, before a truly unforgettable Gospel masterclass with Bazil Meade MBE lifted everything higher. The energy, the sound, the shift in the room… it was something special.

Saturday night? Next level.
Glam, great food, and our iconic Battle of the Genres. Nine groups, nine standout performances—full of creativity, choreography, humour and serious talent. And then… the party. Singing, dancing, celebrating—we didn’t want it to end.

Sunday brought the heart.
A powerful, moving gospel session filled with connection, stories and soul—followed by an incredible finale soul workshop with Eban Brown. The perfect way to close an extraordinary weekend.
