What a brilliant weekend our Midlands choirs had as they filled Caldecott Park with music, joy and community spirit!
π€ Saturday β The BIG Sing at Love Rugby Festival
Saturday morning saw our Midlands BIG Sing Choir take to the stage at the Love Rugby Festival, bringing uplifting music to one of Rugby’s annual community festivals. From the very first song, people stopped to listen, gathered around, and the park quickly filled with smiling faces. It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying the music and celebrating together.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along to sing and, as always, a very special thank you to Sarah for leading the choir so brilliantly. We are so grateful for the passion, energy and dedication she brings to our Midlands choirs.
π Sunday β Church in the Park
We were back in Caldecott Park again on Sunday, but this time with our Midlands Gospel Choir as part of Revive Rugby’s Church in the Park.
Led by Howard and Gemma, the choir sang with such passion and heart, creating a wonderful atmosphere throughout the event. We received so many lovely comments from people who were touched by the music, encouraged by the songs and amazed by the sound of the choir.
Moments like these remind us why The BIG Sing exists. Every performance is an opportunity to bring hope, joy and encouragement into our communities, and this weekend was another beautiful reminder that music really does have the power to change people’s day.
β€οΈ We are incredibly proud of our Midlands choirs and every single person who gave up their weekend to sing, support and represent The BIG Sing so brilliantly. Together, we’re doing so much more than singing songsβwe’re building community, lifting spirits and making a real difference wherever we go.
