✨ SURPRISE! A FLASH MOB AT CHESTER CATHEDRAL 🎶⛪

Last Monday, 50 Midlands BIG Singers travelled to the magnificent Chester Cathedral for a very special performance at the Iceland Food Awards, celebrating more than 70 members of staff being recognised for their outstanding service. 🌟❤️

But this wasn’t just any performance…

The evening began with several choir members blending into the drinks reception, posing as guests. Then, as Gemma began singing Brighter Days, voices started appearing from all around the cathedral. One by one, the “guests” revealed themselves until the full choir burst into song in a spectacular flash mob that completely surprised the audience! 🎤✨😲

The celebration continued with You Gotta Be and Hold On, filling the cathedral with energy, smiles and plenty of audience participation. 🙌🎶

Then came one of the most memorable moments of the evening. Following a wonderful introduction from Josie Gibson, everyone joined together to sing One Love. Arms swayed, voices united and, for a few magical minutes, the entire cathedral became one huge choir. ❤️🎵

These are the moments The BIG Sing loves creating – bringing people together, celebrating others and proving once again that music has an incredible way of connecting us all. 💙✨

It was another unforgettable BIG Sing moment and a performance that perfectly captured the joy, unity and feel-good spirit that our choirs love to share wherever they go. 🎉🎤❤️
